Tamar Valley Chardonnay

Bellwether Tamar Valley Chardonnay is grown in the pristine cool climate of the Tamar Valley in northern Tasmania.

The fruit is handpicked, then gently whole bunch pressed. The stalks provide drainage channels resulting in finer juice and good solids, which help build texture in the wine.

Fermentation occurs with indigenous yeasts to further improve the wine's texture. Tight grained, larger format French oak barrels allow for a subtle integration of oak flavours.

Pale straw, Bellwether Tamar Valley Chardonnay is textured and complex with zesty acidity, struck match notes and a persistent finish. Cellaring potential is five years.
